Let’s enjoy summer! (and prepare for winter!)

Now that Summer is here, it’s time to start thinking about your winter preparations. This will help make this Winter Heating season more efficient. As you begin to prepare for the winter season, here are a few things that you can start with:

Update your inventory count:  Now is the time to get a handle on your inventory.  Ignite has ‘Inventory Checklist’ reports that you can print out for your service technicians. You can also print them out for any inventory locations.  Now is the time to improve operations to help drive profits. Let us help!

Safety Procedure Updates:  Update your employees with the most recent Safety rules.  Take the time now, during the “slow” season to educate your team on emergency  preparedness.

Safety Office and Tank Yard Image:  Create an emergency preparedness guide with entrance and exit points, as well as the location of first aid supplies. Print and Post in the areas for employee and emergency officials.  

Letters to Customers:  Highlight some of the services that you offer to ensure that your customers are ready for winter. It might be time for a boiler tune up, or making sure that you remind them that you need access to their tanks all year.

Thank you for coming to our 2016 User Group Meeting!

We had another great UGM this year! We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

We listened to your feedback and offered multiple learning tracks this year. This set up allowed for a lot of networking and peer conversations to take place. In addition, we also received great feedback that attendees loved the separate tracks for Management, as well as for Service and Delivery. Many of our attendees said that they gained a better understanding of the importance of pulling certain reports and tracking data. We have already reviewed this year’s feedback and we are looking forward to applying it towards our plans for UGM 2017. If you haven’t been to a UGM before, you should make sure that you attend next year. Once you join us, you won’t want to stop!

“I just updated my version of Windows and I can’t print, tickets, help!”

If you have updated to Windows 10 and then cannot print tickets try this:

In Ignite, go to Management> Maintenance and the click on the button that states, ‘Delivery ticket setup.’

When you click on that, another box will pop up. Click on regular at the top of the ’Ticket group box.’ When given the option, then choose ‘regular.’

You then click on printer setup for tickets and it will bring you up to a ticket setup menu and from there check to see if your ticket printer is selected and that the BC Ticket form size is selected.
